Virticus can help a wide range of customers achieve dramatic cost reductions.

Each customer has its own unique lighting requirements. Cities need to keep streets lit all night, whereas shopping malls will only need a small percentage of their lighting on after the stores close. Gas stations will stay open much later than shopping malls, and open earlier, but also need very few lights on through the night. None of these applications are well served by a photocell, which in most cases will not turn the lights on or off at the ideal time.

By combining lighting schedules, dimming capabilities, and remote control of lighting, Virticus enables you to take control of your lighting — reducing your energy expenditure dramatically, without sacrificing safety, security or customer service.

For example, if a facility is open past dark, it will certainly need its parking lot fully lit until closing time. After closing, however, lighting can be reduced considerably. After 2 am, a bare minimum of light is needed until dawn.
