Virticus can help gas stations, car dealerships, and other merchants on heavily traveled roads cut energy costs by up to 50% without sacrificing visibility, traffic or security.

Today, most gas stations and car dealerships have all of their lights connected to a single photo sensor or timer. This wastes energy, because all of the lights in the area are lit, when just having the perimeter or a separate outline of lights would be far less expensive to light and maintain, yet equally useful.

By attaching our Rialto Series lighting controllers to each light standard and making use of existing timers and/or photo sensors, customers can control when each lamp is lit. Customers can cut energy costs still further by incorporating the dimming feature at times of day when a lower level of light is adequate.

For example, a car dealership might want to have all of its lights come on from dusk until closing, and then have a limited set of lights on from closing until dawn. Our lighting controllers provide an affordable way to reduce energy costs almost immediately. We can reduce costs still further by dimming lights instead of having them at full brightness during certain times of the day.

A car dealership has a similar situation to a gas station, but may want to shed some light on featured products or enhance security. Our controllers also allow for installation of motion detectors and video surveillance, so that additional light (and video recording) can be activated if an intruder is detected in the area.

Vandalism may be more of a risk at a certain time of day or day of week. Our controllers allow our customers to configure their outdoor lighting so that their safety and security needs are met or exceeded while at the same time reducing their energy costs by up to 50%.
